Sweet Firstie Fun has become my happiest corner of the internet! I love all things bright, fun, and First Grade! I love sharing my tips and tricks for effective classroom management, exciting and engaging lesson resources, and helpful organizational tools.

I began teaching First Grade years ago and I instantly knew this was where I was always meant to be. Although I had found my happy place, I still found that there were many increasing demands that needed to be met as a teacher.

After my first year I realized that if I wanted to remain a happy teacher, I’d have to let my own creativity shine through the resources that I used with my precious firsties. Creating things that other teachers and students LOVE to do has brought me so much joy. Seeing students get excited about learning is what I love most!
